S. Korean Prosecution Arrests Leading Members of Progressive Organization

Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The Taejon District Prosecutor's Office of south Korea arrested leading members of the Korea Solidarity for Independent Reunification and Democracy, a progressive civic organization, on Wednesday, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

The prosecution charged that they organized the Korea solidarity in November, 2011 and formed regional solidarities and conducted activities sympathizing with the ideology and social system of the north till 2013.

It took such action on the charge that members of the Korea solidarity staged a surprise demonstration outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul in protest against the U.S. monstrous germ test in December last year.
