The competition was divided into the panels of the General Bureau of Public Service, external service and service of ministries and national institutions, public catering establishments in Pyongyang and every province. It brought together more than 300 cooks and waitresses of 49 units.

Waitresses also showed their service techniques.

On display there were catfish soup, rabbit soup, potato preserved in honey, etc.

Designated dishes prepared by cooks from Okryu Restaurant, Pyongyang Koryo Hotel and other units were highly appreciated by participants for unique taste.
