Seminar on Kim Jong Il's Feats Held in Britain
Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- A seminar on the exploits of leader Kim Jong Il took place in London on Jan. 30 under the co-sponsorship of the New Communist Party of Britain, British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Displayed at the venue of the seminar were works of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books introducing the DPRK.

Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, said that the DPRK's successful first H-bomb test is the victory of not only the Korean people but also the world progressives and it would be unthinkable without the exploits of Kim Jong Il who bolstered up the country's military muscle with his unique Songun politics.

Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, said that going beyond the imagination of mankind are the ideological and theoretical exploits of Kim Jong Il who provided the philosophical principle of the Juche idea and all guidelines to be maintained by the party, army and people of the DPRK.

Shawn Pikford, secretary general of the Korean Friendship Association UK, noted that the DPRK opted for having access to the nuclear deterrent for self-defense against the U.S. attempt to mount a nuclear attack.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.

The participants watched the Korean film "2015 for Sports Powerhouse".
