Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Russia

Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Nakhodka, Russia on February 1.

Zelenov, first secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territory of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events to praise revolutionary careers and exploits of the great leaders on the above-said occasions.
