Kim Jong Il's Songun Leadership Exploits Praised by Swiss Organizations

Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- The Swiss preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Men of Mt. Paektu, the Swiss preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star (the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il), the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea released a joint statement on January 29 on the occasion of his 74th birth anniversary.

The statement said:

Generalissimo Kim Jong Il firmly defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country with his matchless courage and will in the closing years of the last century when the U.S. increased the nuclear threat.

By having an access to a powerful nuclear deterrent the DPRK clearly showed the U.S. and its allied forces what a bitter price they will be made to pay for if they make an attack on it again.

Thanks to the original Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il the DPRK has turned into an invincible socialist power and an impregnable fortress, making the history of victory.

The DPRK successfully conducted the third underground nuclear test in February 2013 and the first H-bomb test on January 6 this year.

Today the DPRK's nuclear deterrent firmly defends the sovereignty of the country and guarantees the just cause of the Korean people for building a thriving nation and accomplishing the national reunification as a legendary treasured sword of Songun and a powerful defence means for smashing all challenges of provokers.
