Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- Quality products are increasing in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea amid a brisk emulation drive to improve the quality of goods. On February 2, Juche 70 (1981), President Kim Il Sung convened a national conference of quality control workers, stressing the importance to improve the quality of products and tighten the quality control. Since then, a work has been conducted on the day every year to register as February 2 Goods those products which win high appraisal at international and domestic shows. Many products were registered as February 2 Goods this year. They include functional cosmetics produced by the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory and tonics and foodstuffs produced by the Kaesong Insam Processing Factory. There are also Korean liquors produced by the Pyongyang Beer Factory and the Sariwon Kyongam Liquor Factory and dinner utensils. |
