S. Korean Body Denounces U.S. for Increasing Danger of Nuclear War

Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- The Korea Solidarity for Independent Reunification and Democracy held a rally outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on Feb. 4 to denounce the U.S. for increasing the danger of a nuclear war in the Korean Peninsula, according to Minjok Ilbo, the internet paper of south Korea.

The organization in a statement said that the U.S. is not ruling out murder and war for its interests, and is insulting the north as an "axis of evil" and staging north-targeted nuclear war drills every year, rendering the situation strained.

The prevailing situation in the Korean Peninsula reminds one of the eve of war as the U.S. is pushing forward the deployment of THAAD in south Korea, lets fly nuclear bombers and plans Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises soon, the statement noted.

If the present regime continues taking the road of war against fellow countrymen while cooperating with the U.S., it will not be able to escape fatal destiny, it warned.

At the end of the rally the participants marched as far as the building of the "government".
