Nothing is more vital and important to build the regular armed forces in carving out the destiny of the popular masses, and the might of the revolutionary army depends on the greatness of its supreme commander.

The President is the pioneer of the Songun revolution and the invincible and iron-willed commander.

Weathering arduous un-trodden way of nation-building, the President laid a foundation of the self-reliant national defence industry and made sure that centers for training military political officers were built to create the ranks of military political leading officers with excellent sons and daughters of the people and with anti-Japanese war fighters as backbone. This helped brilliantly realize the historic cause of building the regular revolutionary armed forces in a short span of time in the hard time right after the liberation of the country.

Leader Kim Jong Il was the military genius and great Songun brilliant commander who successfully carried forward the President's idea and exploits of the building of the revolutionary armed forces and developed the Korean People's Army into the powerful elite Paektusan revolutionary army.

Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il turned the People's Army which started with two pistols into the matchless revolutionary armed forces with the strong might politically, ideologically and in military technique. Their exploits for the Songun revolution will be immortal in the army building history of the world and the history of the DPRK.

Minju Joson says that the final victory of the Juche revolution is sure as long as there is the heroic Korean People's Army advancing under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un under the uplifted flags bearing the immortal beaming images of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
