Floral Tributes Paid to Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Service personnel and people across the country paid profound tribute to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Monday in honor of the significant birth anniversary of the regular armed forces of the DPRK and the Lunar New Year's Day of Juche 105 (2016).

A lot of people visited the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill in boundless reverence for them.

Standing before their statues was a floral basket sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Laid before the statues were floral baskets in the names of the party, armed forces and power bodies, public organizations, ministries, national institutions, organs, industrial establishments at all levels and schools in the city, and bouquets and flowers.

The visitors made deep bows before the statues.

Service personnel, people from different social standings and school youth and children visited the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at Kim Il Sung University, Kim Il Sung Military University, Kim Il Sung University of Politics, the Ministry of People's Security, the Mansudae Art Studio, military academies and large combined units of the Korean People's Army to pay floral tribute.

Service personnel, working people and school youth and children in local areas also visited the statues of the great leaders and mosaics depicting smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il to pay tribute to them.
