If one depends on other countries and reads their faces, one cannot have one's own view but has to dance to the tune of others.

It is foolish to try to benefit from others while depending on them, not believing in one's own strength. To do so is self-destruction in the present world where the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists are rampant.

Aggression and plunder are the nature of imperialism and remain unchanged. It is little short of pricking one's own eyes with one's own fingers to pin hope on "aid" and "cooperation" of the imperialists, failing to discern it.

Clear is the aim of "aid" touted by the imperialists. Through "aid" they seek to subjugate the backward countries and those countries which incur their displeasure politically and economically and westernize all fabrics of the social life in a bid to establish their order.

The only way out for the countries aspiring after independence and progress is to build their own strength and settle everything by dint of it in the spirit that everything for one's own is the best and self-development is the best. This is the only way for the nation and the country to live and prosper.

The achievements and experience gained by the DPRK, recording only a history of victory, clearly prove that self-development serves as a weapon for winning sure victory and its source.
