Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean ruling forces are resorting to funny acts to realize their ambition for staying in power, touching off public derision and denunciation. There took place shaman's rites inside the building of the "National Assembly" of south Korea on Jan. 29. The rites were planned by the "Saenuri Party" with an aim to win in the upcoming April general election. Irony is that in the rites whose alleged theme was the "prosperity and fortune of the country" hundreds of shamans prayed for the victory in the elections. The news immediately sparked off censure from the public in south Korea. Yonhap News, Newsis and other media vividly reflected what desperate efforts the representative and spokesman and the religious chairman of the "Saenuri Party" made to put the situation under control after the disclosure of the fact. The religious chairman made lame excuses, saying that he only offered the place, not spearheading the event. |
