Day of Shining Star Marked in Myanmar, Bulgaria

Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- There took place a meeting, photo exhibition and film show at the Yangon Institute for Sports and Physical Exercise of Myanmar and a friendship meeting and film show sponsored by the Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism on Feb. 2 and 3 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the revolutionary careers and feats of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Also on display were books and photos introducing the DPRK.

Films shown included Korean films "2015, Year of Great Revolutionary Jubilee" and "Sports Power in 2015".

The chief of the Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and other speakers praised Kim Jong Il for leading the socialist cause and the cause of independence against imperialism to victory under the uplifted banner of Songun.

They expressed support and solidarity with the just cause of the Korean people resolutely shattering all challenges of the hostile forces and dynamically struggling for the building of a thriving nation and national reunification.
