An awarding ceremony was held at the Youth League Hall Thursday.

Decrees of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK were read out and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize was awarded to 27 primary youth league committees, 36 youth league officials and members who distinguished themselves in consolidating their youth league organizations into the ranks of young vanguard in the era of Songun, performing feats in defending the country and building a thriving nation and their study and organizational life.

Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize went to 104 members of the Korean Children's Union who set examples in study, organizational life, socio-political activities and do-good-thing movement.
