Present there were officials of local party and power organs, working people's organizations, factories, enterprises, farms and universities, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, people from all walks of life, youth and students.

A report of the National Aerospace Development Administration of the PRK was read out at the meetings to be followed by speeches.

The speakers warmly congratulated the space explorers for their big contribution to successfully putting the satellite of Juche on its orbit.

The U.S. imperialists and their followers are terming the satellite launch a "challenge" and "transgression" and kicking up a mad-cap racket against the DPRK, but the satellites of Juche will as ever soar into the sky, they said.

They called for working miracles and innovations in the drive for implementing the behests of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and upholding the Party policies in the same spirit as that displayed in the successful satellite launch.

They underscored the need to dynamically accelerate the all-out drive for successfully advancing the revolutionary cause of Juche and Songun started in Mt. Paektu with the vim and vigor with which the DPRK fully demonstrated the dignity and mettle of a space power under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
