The Feb. 4th issue of DR Congolese newspaper L'Avenir allotted one whole page to an article titled "White snow and Kim Jong Il, Feb. 16, 2016: the 74th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il, great leader of the Korean people".

The newspaper said that he took warm care of the people and gave field guidance till the last moments of his life, finding joy in their happiness.

In the DPRK socialism could be safeguarded and a fresh heyday be opened in building a thriving nation thanks to the self-sacrificing devotion made by Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il, the newspaper said, adding that his sacred career would always be remembered by the Korean people and other progressives.

The Feb. 1st issue of the Zambian newspaper Post in an article titled "Mt. Paektu and Kim Jong Il" praised him for performing the immortal ideological and theoretical feats and Songun leadership exploits and introduced the epoch-making events made in socialist Korea under his leadership.

The Namibian newspaper New Era on Feb. 1 in an article titled "Immortal exploits for peace" said that he smashed every U.S. military provocation and attempt to invade the DPRK with his matchless grit and pluck.

The newspaper noted that his exploits for accomplishing the cause of global independence would always be kept in the minds of humankind.
