DPRK's Satellite Launch Praised by Swiss Organizations

Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A Swiss preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea released a joint statement on February 7 in congratulation of the successful launch of earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4 of the DPRK.

The joint statement said:

The DPRK successfully put earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4 into its orbit.

This is a proud fruition of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on attaching importance to science and technology.

The fascinating vapor of Juche satellite that trailed in the clear and blue sky in February on the threshold of the Day of the Shining Star, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il, is a gift of the most intense loyalty presented by Korea's space scientists and technicians to the great Comrade Kim Jong Un, dignified party, state and people.

The satellite will be used only for peaceful purposes and for the study of space.

The successful launch is another great victory won by the DPRK in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Songun.

Satellite launch is an independent right of the DPRK.

The U.S. and its followers' assertion that the satellite launch of the DPRK is a "missile test" is a sheer lie.
