What matters is that the shameless acts of the present government of Japan are not confined to denying history.

Lurking behind its actions is its unlimited ambition to recover from its past defeat and launch reinvasion.

The descendants of Samurais should, however, properly face up to the reality.

The responsibility for the apology and reparation for the past crimes can never be evaded.
