It will be held at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre and the Yun I Sang Concert Hall, divided into 12 fields including national instrumental music, vocal music and dance.

It will be attended by Pyongyang and local art organizations, overseas Korean art troupes and artistes, teachers and students in the field of art education.

An opening ceremony took place at the Moranbong Theatre on Friday.

Present there were officials, artistes, teachers and students in the field of culture and art.

Minister of Culture Pak Chun Nam made an opening address.
