General Secretary of C.C., LPRP to Boost Friendly Relations with WPK

Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) led by Kim Yong Chol, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, on a visit to Laos met and had a talk Thursday with Bounnhang Vorachith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) at the building of the Party Central Committee.

Bounnhang Vorachith said it is a vivid expression of support for the LPRP that supreme leader Kim Jong Un personally sent a congratulatory delegation as regards the successful 10th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the election of the general secretary of the Party Central Committee.

It is a fruition of the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Un that the WPK has made steady progress in bolstering up capabilities for self-defence and stepping up economic construction and the improvement of the people's living standard, he added.

He wished Kim Jong Un good health and big success in the work for leading the building of a thriving socialist nation, expressing his will to eternally boost the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and countries.
