DPRK's Successful Satellite Launch Hailed by Foreign Personages
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Foreign figures hailed the DPRK's successful launch of earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4 on Feb. 7 and 9.

Vinogradov who was the correspondent of the maritime territorial branch of TASS said in a statement that the recent satellite launch proved the DPRK's access to space technology and it gave all of them delight, adding an astronaut of the DPRK would fly into space before long.

Gonzalez Trujillo, president of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea "Kanggye" of Colombia, sent a congratulatory message to the DPRK mission. The message extended heartfelt congratulations to the Korean people on the successful launch of earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4, saying that the recent successful satellite launch is a remarkable event not only for the DPRK but also in the field of space science and technology.

Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader", made a phone call to the DPRK mission in which he said the successful satellite launch is the proud exercise of the independent right to use space for peaceful purposes and a brilliant victory of the DPRK's line on attaching importance to science and technology.
