Foreign Guests, Overseas Compatriots Visit Kumsusan Palace of Sun

| Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- Foreign diplomatic envoys, representatives of international bodies and military attaches of foreign embassies here, the delegation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the congratulatory group of the General Association of Koreans in China and other foreigners and overseas compatriots visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun Tuesday, the Day of the Shining Star (the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il). They paid tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il before their statues at the palace. In the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state the visitors made deep bows to him. They went round the hall where orders he received are on display and the halls that house a car, electric car, boat and train coach used by him during his field guidance and foreign tours till the last moments of his life. On the same day, chief Jo Il Min and members of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and paid a tribute to Kim Jong Il. |
