Also among the audience were delegations of overseas Koreans and other compatriots visiting the socialist homeland on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

The performance began with a prelude "February Waltz".

Put on the stage were such numbers as female solo and chorus "Cantata to Comrade Kim Jong Il" and chorus "General on a Galloping White Horse".

The performers sang high praises of the feats he performed in providing the foundation for the eternal prosperity of the DPRK and happiness of the posterity and recording the history of the people-first principle.
