The participants laid bouquets and flowers before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Anders Kristensen, chairman of the association and co-chairman of the preparatory committee for celebrating the 74th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il, said in a speech that he was the great revolutionary and distinguished political elder who devoted his whole life to achieving the prosperity of socialist Korea and the independent and peaceful reunification of the country and accomplishing the cause of global independence.

The feats he performed for the era and mankind would shine forever with his august name, the chairman noted.

He said that the revolutionary and progressives of Denmark would as ever extend firm support and encouragement to the Korean people in their struggle for the just cause.

A letter to Marshal Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
