International Women's Meeting Held in Indonesia
Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- An international women's meeting for peace and reunification in the Korean Peninsula took place in Bali of Indonesia between February 7 and 11.

Present at the meeting were activists for peace against war in Korea, Sweden, U.S., Japan, Australia and other different countries and regions and overseas compatriots.

They reviewed the successes and experience gained by the 2015 international women's grand march for reunification and peace in Korea and heard speeches.

The Korean women are suffering unbearable tragedy, misfortune and pain due to the U.S. deep-rooted and harsh hostile policy toward the DPRK, speakers said, and went on:

The DPRK's recent first H-bomb test was a just measure to defend the sovereignty of the country and the vital right of the nation and protect peace in the Korean Peninsula and regional security from the U.S. daily-escalating nuclear threat and blackmail.

It is entirely unreasonable for the U.S. and its followers to talk about the sanctions and pressure on the DPRK over its launch of earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4.

The meeting adopted a joint agreement calling for intensifying the activities to urge the governments of various countries to demand a halt to the war moves escalating the tension in the peninsula and the conclusion of the DPRK-U.S. peace treaty and support the women in their actions for achieving peace in the peninsula.
