Present at the ceremony were officials concerned, working people, youth and students, foreign guests, overseas Koreans and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

Festival prizes were awarded to players of Russia, Belarus, Canada and the DPRK who showed tested art representation and high figure technology.

Ri Jong Mu, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, made a closing address.

Then followed a demonstration of figure skaters of the DPRK and other countries.
