Day of Shining Star Observed Abroad

| Pyongyang, February 18 (KCNA) -- Celebrations took place at the DPRK missions abroad from Feb. 3 to 12 to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il. They included receptions, book and photo exhibitions and film shows at the DPRK missions in Vietnam, Cambodia, Romania, Brazil and Hong Kong, China. Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. There were also their works, and books introducing Songun Korea and photos showing the Korean people in their struggle to achieve the final victory in the revolutionary cause of Juche. Korean films dealing with the exploits and wise leadership of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un were shown. Present there on invitation were figures and diplomatic envoys from the governments, parties, organizations and organs of the relevant countries. |
