Italian, Ugandan Organizations Hail DPRK's Satellite Launch

Pyongyang, February 18 (KCNA) -- Public organizations of Italy and Uganda made public statements on Feb. 7 and 8 hailing the DPRK's successful launch of earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4. The Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism Study Group in Fermo of Italy said: We are pleased to hear the news that Kwangmyongsong-4 was successfully put into its orbit under the guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un. We send congratulations to the scientists and technicians of the DPRK National Aerospace Development Administration (NADA) upon their shining success made in the satellite launch true to the autographic order of Kim Jong Un and the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea on attaching importance to science and technology. The Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement called on all the UN member states to support the DPRK's space development program for peaceful purposes, adding that the successful launch of Kwangmyongsong-4 developed by the NADA scientists and technicians eloquently proved that the DPRK made a step forward in the development of science and technology. The Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said the successful launch of Kwangmyongsong-4 according to the 2016 plan of the 5-year program for national aerospace development was a historic event that testified to the great potentialities and self-development in the DPRK. |
