The Standing Committee of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, on behalf of all the officials of Chongryon and compatriots, strongly protested against the Japanese government's decision to slap independent sanctions against the DPRK.

The Standing Committee of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon resolutely rejected the Japanese government's independent sanctions against the DPRK which demonstrated before the world the tremendous national power and space science and technology.

The Standing Committee of the Hyogo Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon termed the Japanese government's independent sanctions a part of the policy for isolating and stifling the DPRK which has been pursued in a planned way in order to tighten military nexus among the U.S., Japan and south Korea and an act of gravely violating the right of the Chongryon organizations and Koreans in Japan.

The standing committees of the Aichi, Hokkaido and Fukuoka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon also condemned the Japanese government's independent sanctions against the DPRK.
