Little Girl of Literary Aptitude

| Pyongyang, February 18 (KCNA) -- Ri So Yon, a schoolgirl at a junior class of Namsan Senior Secondary School in Sunan District, Pyongyang City, is well known among young readers for creating over 100 poems. Some of her poems were awarded the Our Classroom Literary Prize and the April 15 Mangyongdae creation prize of loyalty. On the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (October 10, 2015), she presented the collection of her poems "We Celebrate the Holiday of October" to supreme leader Kim Jong Un. All her poems are characterized by peculiar style, rich vocabulary and terse composition. |
