Rodong Sinmun says those joint calls put great spurs to the advance of the servicepersons and people in the DPRK to greet the event of victors in May.

The joint calls appeal to the heroic Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il workers to powerfully demonstrate the revolutionary spirit, all the agricultural workers to achieve a great victory on the front of agriculture and the fishermen to present the "spectacular scenery of a good catch of fish" in the Songun era. They also call for producing more world-competitive famous products and goods, making sure that the great heyday of construction continues without letup and supporting the Songun-based leadership of the Party by creating lots of masterpieces.

They underscore the need for the servicepersons to defend the 7th Congress of the WPK by bolstering up the political and military capabilities of the People's Army in every way, the young people to become heroes of the times and masters of creation in supporting the party and the officials to work and struggle like those in the period of laying down the Party's foundation for carrying forward the cause of Juche.

They encourage the servicepersons and people and give momentum to the advance in another Chollima age and Mallima age when uninterrupted changes are made in all spheres beyond recognition. Herein lie the tremendous attraction and driving force of the joint calls.

All the party members, service personnel of the People's Army and people are required to intensify the drive to implement the militant tasks set forth in the joint calls with confidence in victory and optimism and devote themselves to the above-said charge.
