All the members of the union are greatly infuriated by the Japanese government's independent sanctions against the DPRK under the pretext of its H-bomb test and earth observation satellite launch, the statement said, adding:

Japan's decision to slap independent sanctions against the DPRK in collusion with the U.S. and south Korea before any others is a dangerous provocation escalating the tension in the Korean Peninsula.

The statement demanded the Japanese government immediately lift the unreasonable sanctions, vicious political suppression of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and inhumane act of violating the fundamental rights of Koreans in Japan.
