Present there were officials concerned and students of Korean schools and parents and other Koreans in Japan, members of organizations for supporting Korean schools across Japan and other Japanese officials.

Speakers said Korean schools have been excluded from the tuition-free program for the past six years according to the unreasonable policy of the Japanese government.

They demanded Japan withdraw the unreasonable step for discriminating Korean schools and immediately apply the tuition-free program for senior high schools to them.
