Deployment of THAAD in S. Korea Protested

| Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea held a rally in Seoul on Feb. 16 to protest against the U.S. deployment of THAAD in south Korea. The speakers denounced the U.S. for pushing ahead with the deployment of THAAD in south Korea. The deployment of THAAD will turn south Korea into an advanced base for the U.S. and Japan to carry out their strategies and endanger the peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia, they charged. At the end of the rally they staged a demo before the "government" building. |
