Day of Shining Star Observed in Different Countries

| Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- Korean photo and book exhibitions and film shows took place in Guinea, Thailand, Nigeria and Algeria from Feb. 9 to 12 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star). Displayed in the venues of the exhibitions were photos of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also on display there were their works, and books and photos introducing the service personnel and people of the DPRK ushering in a heyday in building a thriving nation. Films shown included Korean films "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" and "Arms of Korea." |
