Korean Photo, Book, Stamp and Handicraft Exhibitions Open in Russia, Peru
Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- Korean photo, book, stamp and handicraft exhibitions were opened in Moscow and Trujillo, Peru on Feb. 12 and 15 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos showing the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were their works, and books, photos and stamps introducing the DPRK and handicrafts reflecting the Korean people's wisdom and talents.

Present at the opening ceremonies were figures of various strata and masses in the relevant countries.

The general manager of a commercial centre in Moscow said the exhibition offered Russians an opportunity to know better about the successes achieved by the Korean people.

The president of the diplomatic academy under the Russian Foreign Ministry said the DPRK has vigorously advanced along the road of socialism, firmly adhering to independence under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The minister of Education of the La Libertad regional government of Peru said the exhibition would provide a good opportunity to the Peruvian people to know well about the brilliant culture of Korea, distinguished talents of the Korean people and achievements made in the DPRK, in particular.

The exhibitions go on.
