Demo against U.S. and S. Korean Authorities' Anti-DPRK Moves Staged in Russia

Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- A demonstration took place in Vladivostok, Russia on Feb. 12 in support of the DPRK's successful first H-bomb test and launch of earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4 and in protest against the U.S. and south Korean authorities' moves against the DPRK.

Participating in it were figures of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation and members of the league.

They staged a demonstration holding the posters reading "Let's hold aloft the banner of independence, peace and friendship!" with the flag of the league and globe as the background.

Yevgeni Lashenko, first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the league, said at a news conference that its members extend support and solidarity to the DPRK firmly adhering to the independent stand.

He stressed that the DPRK's H-bomb test was a just measure for having access to the deterrent capable of protecting the country's security.

He accused the south Korean authorities of resuming their smear broadcasting campaign against the DPRK.
