Japan's Hostile Acts against DPRK Accused by Slovenian and Beninese Organizations

Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- Slovenian and Beninese organizations strongly accused the Japanese authorities of their provocative hostile acts against the DPRK. The Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association stated on Feb. 18: On Feb. 7 the DPRK succeeded in putting the earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4 on its orbit. This is a proud success which demonstrated once again the might of its space science and technology before the world. The satellite launch can not be put into question as it is a right of a sovereign state. However, Japan engrossed in confrontation with the DPRK is raising a hue and cry. The Japanese government would be well advised to lift its sanctions against the DPRK, awake from its anachronistic daydream. On the same day the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" and the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea issued the following joint statement: We strongly denounce the Japanese authorities for taking before any other countries sanctions measures against Juche Korea, independent of the UN sanctions under the pretext of its H-bomb test and satellite launch. Sanctions against the DPRK are a violation of international law. If Japan persistently resorts to the hostile policy toward the DPRK, following the lead of the U.S., it can never escape the world progressive peoples' strong denunciation and rejection. |
