Nullification of Agreement on Issue of Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea held the 1 219th Wednesday meeting before a statue of a girl before the Japanese embassy in Seoul on Feb. 24 in demand of the proper settlement of the issue of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

The organization said at the meeting that a victim of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army passed away on Feb. 20 with her grudge unsettled, accusing the south Korean authorities of making a humiliating "agreement" with Japan, paying no heed to the demands of the victims.

It declared March 1 as the "day of national action" to nullify the "agreement" on the issue of the sexual slavery.

It clarified that it would simultaneously hold meetings and launch demos on that day at the Chonggye Plaza and places where statues of a girl of peace are located.
