According to Ri Sing Ryol, vice-chairman of the Wonsan-Mt. Kumgang ITZ Development Committee, the festival is to take place in the city of Wonsan which is renewing its looks as a world-level tourist city.

An emblem for the festival was published.

During the festival, there will be various events at Kalma Airport, Songdowon and other parts of the scenic city.

The festival is to consist of aviation demonstration by warplanes, air trip by light and other planes of the Air Koryo, flying balloons, parachuting and demonstration by members of the Pyongyang Air Club.

Art performance, Taekwon-Do demonstration, peasant dance, sports and amusement games, dancing party of youth and students and firework display will add to the festival mood.

A large number of air sports fans and tourists in various countries of Asia and Europe have expressed their willingness to take part in the festival.

Ri Sing Ryol told that tour of Mts. Paektu and Myohyang and other scenic spots of the country is expected with the festival as an occasion.
