Noting that the situation of the Korean peninsula has reached a dangerous phase that can not be overlooked any longer, due to the U.S. imperialists' provocative moves, Kim Hyong Chol, curator of the National House of Class Education, told KCNA:

They are running amuck to ignite another Korean war, but such attempt makes the Korean people recall the aggressors' history of defeats.

The Korean War in the 1950s was, in fact, a battle between rifle and A-bomb, but the army and people of the DPRK inflicted a political and military defeat on the U.S. imperialist aggressors for the first time in history, demonstrating the stamina of heroic Korea.

In 1960s when its armed spy ship Pueblo was captured by the Korean People's Army, the U.S. drove the situation of the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war, dispatching its aircraft carrier and task forces into the East Sea of Korea. However, it could not but make a written apology to the courageous DPRK.

After that, the U.S. imperialists suffered defeats in such cases as spy plane EC-121 and "Panmunjom" incidents.

Early in 1990s, the U.S. sought outbreak of an all-out nuclear war against the DPRK, spreading a story about "early collapse of North Korea".

But, eventually, it had to sign the DPRK-U.S. Agreed Framework and offer its president's letter of guarantee to the DPRK.

The servicepersons and civilians in the DPRK, rallied closely around the supreme leadership of the revolution, will mete out merciless punishment to the U.S. imperialists making desperate efforts in a nuclear nightmare so that they can write a history of their final defeat for themselves.

Ryang Jae Nam, an officer of the Moranbong District, Pyongyang, Worker-Peasant Red Guards, said:

The U.S. imperialists are deploying their huge aggression armed forces in south Korea, including their special operation troops, nuclear-powered submarine and Stealth fighter-bombers to kick off the Key Resolve, Foal Eagle 16 joint military exercises.

Anyhow, such action can never frighten the army and people in the DPRK.

It is the fixed will of the army and people of the DPRK to inflict the final defeat on the U.S. imperialists if they continue to show confrontation hysteria, oblivious of the lessons of history they drew in the past showdown with the DPRK.

The U.S. imperialists should behave themselves, well aware of the do-or-die spirit of the Korean army and people who have always emerged victorious.
