Pyongyangites Meet
Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- Pyongyangites met at Kim Il Sung Square on Thursday to vow to thoroughly carry out the tasks set forth in the joint calls made by the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and become honorable victors in the 70-day campaign of loyalty.

Present at the rally were Pak Pong Ju, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok and leading officials of the party and state, officials of the working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, officials of the party and administrative and working people's organizations, institutions, universities, factories, enterprises and farms, heroes, persons of merits and working people in the city.

Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, made a report.

He said that the 70-day campaign of loyalty is a whole-party, whole-state and all-people general mobilization campaign and all-out death-defying campaign to greet the Seventh Congress of the WPK as the one of victors and glory to usher in a golden age in building a thriving nation, and also an all-out offensive campaign for hastening the final victory of revolution.

He referred to the fact that in the past the officials, party members and other working people in Pyongyang made great leap forward by dashing forward in the van of the country, holding high the banner of implementing the party policies.

He called upon all people to wage a dynamic struggle with redoubled courage to create world-startling miracles and innovations in the 70-day campaign of loyalty and glorify the Seventh Congress of the WPK as the one of victors and glory, united close around Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Then representatives of the working class, agricultural workers, youth and officials made speeches.

They expressed their determination to turn out as one in the 70-day campaign and register biggest successes and most brilliant labor merits.

At the end of the rally there took place a demonstration.
