He pursued Songun politics to bolster up the defence capabilities though the imperialist allied forces got more projected in their moves to stifle the DPRK when socialism collapsed in some countries in the late 20th century.

His Songun politics is the ever-victorious banner that helps defend and glorify the sovereignty of the country and the nation.

Miracles are worked one after another in the DPRK thanks to his far-sighted wisdom guided by the Juche idea and Songun idea fathered by President Kim Il Sung in the revolution and construction.
