Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary Observed by Russian Newspaper

| Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- The sixth issue of the Russian newspaper Zavtra carried an article titled "Comrade Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary is national holiday of DPRK" illustrated with his picture, contributed by writer Rabrentsi Gurzhiev. The newspaper noted that Kim Jong Il's life brightly indicated the century of the future beyond the 20th century and the 21st century. He gave the Korean people firm steadfastness, published many works on the building of socialism and pursued the original Songun politics, it said. He always emerged victorious in the political and military confrontation with the imperialists, it noted. |
