U.S. Military Provocation Bound to Meet Miserable Setback
Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- The reckless moves of the gangster-like U.S. imperialists running wild like wolves, crying out for "beheading operation" and "high-density strike," are bound to meet a miserable setback before long in face of the DPRK's sacred war against them, say papers here Saturday.

Rodong Sinmun notes in an article:

The American Empire suffered such greatest political and military tragedy as going downhill after surrendering to the Korean people though it boasted of being "strongest" in the Korean war.

The DPRK and the U.S. have stood in confrontation since the ceasefire. This is evidenced by the U.S. imperialist armed spy ship Pueblo case, large spy plane EC-121 incident, Panmunjom case, DPRK-U.S. nuclear standoff, etc.

Every DPRK-U.S. acute military confrontation caused by the latter's provocations ended in the U.S. surrenders and apologies and the victory of the DPRK. The U.S. successive setbacks in the confrontation with the DPRK are remembered by the Americans as horrible events.

This land has turned into a base for the most horrible counter-attack, counter-strike threatening the U.S. mainland as all the Korean people are burning with towering resentment and firm resolution to take revenge upon the U.S. The enemies are trembling with fear in face of the strongest mental power of the service personnel and people of the DPRK firmly convinced of their just cause, which no one in the world can ever have or imitate, and in face of the masters of this land who took over the pledge to take revenge upon the U.S. as a legacy.

The moment an aggression is launched means the beginning of the U.S. miserable lot of going to its final ruin.

Minju Joson in a commentary says any "beheading operation" touted by the U.S. will end in a total failure leading to the final ruin of the U.S. and its followers in face of the merciless retaliatory strikes of the service personnel and people of the DPRK.
