Egyptian TV on Feb. 20 broadcast a special program illustrated with the photos showing the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il.

The TV aired the footage of the Korean people paying tribute to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill and the events on the Day of the Shining Star.

The Egyptian newspaper Al Ahrar on Feb. 15 carried articles illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

An article titled "HE Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people, revered by them" said he provided the Korean people with a dignified life in the independent power and turned the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power, putting their dignity on the highest level.

The Feb. 19-23 issue of the Brazilian newspaper Hora do Povo in an article noted that Kim Jong Il made tremendous contributions to the prosperity of the country, Korea's reunification and the cause of global independence.
