Philippine Organization Accuses U.S. of Finding Fault with DPRK's Satellite Launch

Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The Philippines Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in the Korean Peninsula issued a statement on Feb. 13 in denunciation of the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK in which it found fault with the DPRK's launch of the earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4.

The statement expressed concern about the U.S. pulling up the DPRK over its satellite launch.

It said:

Kwangmyongsong-4 launched on Feb. 7 is an earth observation satellite.

The satellite will provide information necessary for the DPRK's exploration of underground resources, development of agriculture, etc.

The U.S. is terming the DPRK's clear satellite launch the "ICBM test".

The statement strongly accused the U.S. and its followers of deteriorating the situation in the Korean Peninsula under the pretext of the DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes.
