Suppression of Anti-U.S., Anti-War Actions Denounced in S. Korea

Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities are suppressing the anti-U.S., anti-war actions of the progressive movement organizations.

Lawyers of the Committee for Study of GIs Affairs of the Bar Association for Democratic Society in south Korea held a press conference at the Kwanghwamun plaza in Seoul on February 16 in protest against the projected deployment of THAAD and conducted one-man demo outside the U.S. embassy.

At the Seoul Central District Court on February 23 the Bar Association for Democratic Society accused the police of banning freedom of expression.
