Field Medical Service Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Health workers of the DPRK launched a field medical service as part of the 70-day campaign to significantly greet the upcoming 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea. In Pyongyang those from the Pyongyang Medical College Hospital of Kim Il Sung University and Kim Man Yu Hospital started their medical service at the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill and the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex. They are now conducting medical checkup and treatment among employees. Meanwhile, medical teams from the General Dental Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health and the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital are active in the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and the Jangchon Vegetable Co-op Farm in Sadong District, Pyongyang. Those units conducting field medical service also include the Ministry of Public Health Skin-disease Preventive Centre, Pyongyang Ophthalmic Hospital and Pyongyang Municipal People's Hospital No. 2. Such field medical service was launched in provinces of the country, including North and South Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces. |
