Sexual Slavery for Imperialist Japanese Army Will Never Be Written off: Minju Joson

Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, an examinant of the Foreign Ministry of Japan told a lie on the holy UN arena to be censured by the participants. He spouted jargon that the figure 200,000 is groundless and the expression of the sexual slavery is contradictory to the fact. He went the lengths of shamelessly asserting that it was really regrettable that a member of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women mentioned the issue which is contrary to the historical facts. Commenting on this, Minju Joson Wednesday says: This is the height of craftiness and shamelessness peculiar to Japan. In the past days the Japanese imperialists forcibly kidnapped a lot of women from Korea and other Asian countries to reduce them into sexual slaves and wantonly trampled upon their dignity and chastity. The fact is clearly recorded in human history and it will never be erased though years pass. Even if Japan makes full apology and reparation to Korea and other Asian countries and the sore of victims is healed, the historical fact will remain. Therefore, what Japan should do is not to try to conceal its crimes related to the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army but to honestly acknowledge the crimes and make a sincere apology and reparation to the victims. This is the only way out for it. Japan would be well advised to bear in mind that it will never be able to evade the severe punishment of history. |
