Speakers there said that the freedom of conscience and idea has never been guaranteed in south Korea, adding that a proof of this is the "Security Law" still remaining in force.

A resolution read out there declared that the organization would stage united solidarity actions in demand of a stop to cooperation with foreign forces, confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north and war exercises for invading the north, implementation of the June 15 joint declaration, the repeal of undemocratic evil laws and release, pardon and reinstatement of all prisoners of conscience and the right of the people to existence.
